In turn, they differ in terms of not just appearance and performance, but sustainability.<br><br>This CPD Live session steps through the above as well as considerations once the product gets to the specifying stage. Titled \u2018From Forest to The Interior &#8211; The Journey of Wood\u2019 it is intended to outline the issues relating to forestry, the importance of sustainable certification and the key considerations when specifying timber, to enable you to make the best-informed choices for your next project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By the end of this session, you should be able to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Outline the various benefits of timber flooring as compared to alternatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explain the ways that variations in factors like timber species, grade, harvesting, and processing have on the appearance and performance of finished flooring products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explain the ways that variation in these factors have on the sustainability of finished flooring products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify the best timber flooring choices for different design briefs and different applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2
