With its housing affordability crisis (not to mention the general obsession with property), it&#8217;s been big news across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indesignlive.com\/tag\/sydney\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sydney<\/a>. As such, I asked four architects involved in providing designs for the Pattern Book to join me for a roundtable podcast discussion at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indesignlive.com\/tag\/the-commons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Commons<\/a> in Surry Hills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conrad Johnston is director at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indesignlive.com\/tag\/Studio-Johnston\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Studio Johnston<\/a>;&nbsp;Gabrielle Pelletier is associate director at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indesignlive.com\/tag\/sam-crawford-architects\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sam Crawford Architects<\/a>; Shaun Carter is principal architect and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indesignlive.com\/tag\/carter-williamson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carter Williamson Architects<\/a>; and Harry Catterns is partner at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indesignlive.com\/tag\/saha\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SAHA<\/a>. Each practice has successfully designed one of the eight terrace, townhouse and manor house typologies that make up this phase of the NSW Pattern Book.
