The NSW Labor Government and Government Architect NSW (GANSW) launched the state\u2019s Housing<\/a> Pattern Book of low-rise designs just last week. With its housing affordability crisis (not to mention the general obsession with property), it’s been big news across Sydney<\/a>. As such, I asked four architects involved in providing designs for the Pattern Book to join me for a roundtable podcast discussion at The Commons<\/a> in Surry Hills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conrad Johnston is director at Studio Johnston<\/a>; Gabrielle Pelletier is associate director at Sam Crawford Architects<\/a>; Shaun Carter is principal architect and Carter Williamson Architects<\/a>; and Harry Catterns is partner at SAHA<\/a>. Each practice has successfully designed one of the eight terrace, townhouse and manor house typologies that make up this phase of the NSW Pattern Book. The other practices involved are Sibling Architecture, Anthony Gill Architects, Officer Woods Architects, Other Architects and NMBW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
